I Love Acid returns for their Brooklyn residency at Good Room Chicago legend DJ HYPERACTIVE makes his I Love Acid debut. Named in Daft Punk's "Teachers" anthem, Joseph Manumaleuna aka DJ Hyperactive needs little introduction to those versed in the history of techno - releases on classic imprints like Missle and Drop Bass right up to current labels like Truncate, Hyperactive has been at the top of his game for 4 decades now. He is joined by another iconic Midwest artist: DJ ESP aka Woody McBride - also making his I Love Acid debut. Regarded as one of the most important & influential acid acts, debuting in 1988 in Minneapolis, and pioneering the 2nd wave of acid - the harder acid techno sound - Woody was part of the crew that brought Daft Punk over for their American debut show in the mid 90s. Scotia returns for her second I Love Acid outing, right off the back of bookings at Movement weekend's Return to the Source and Club Toilet with residents & hosts DJ Warp (Chicago) and Posthuman (Glasgow UK) completing the lineup.
